Needless to say, it was a very emotional day.
This past Saturday we had her Graduation party. Just a close friends and family (around 50 people ?). I had a house filled with people that love and truly care about this darling daughter of mine. I kept the menu pretty simple- pulled pork, meatballs, pastas, salads, lots of appetizers and a bunch of desserts. I wanted to share the cupcakes that we made. When I say "we", I actually mean my BF Dawn. She offered to come over and help me and the cupcakes were still not done. Luckily she is the Queen of making cupcakes. So I gave her the idea, the ingredients and she created this!
These cupcakes are all over blogworld, but I got the idea from Bakerella. Go here for how to make the graduation caps. You'll get the basic idea.
