Yup I got an award. Yeah you read right 36 followers - AN AWARD! Aren't you glad you follow me now?? :-)
This award comes from a blog that I well - love. She has a witty, smart ass sense of writing and I just lurve that. She also is coming into her own with her craftiness. The cape on the corner gave me my very 1st blog award and I would like to say thank you TCOTC!
So here is the deal. 1st I post the award taDAHHHHHH! I'm pretty sure that's it.
Then I tell 6 truths and 1 lie about moi and in no particular order and then you guess which is which.Ok so here we go:
1. I hate warmed fruit. I don't care how you disguise it -whipped cream, in a pie, donut etc, it's gross and weird looking.
2. My father is the youngest of 14 kids. When I say my family is HUGE, I'm talking HUGE here people.
3. I'm a natural blonde.4. After all these years, my husband still makes my heart go pitter patter.
5. I'm a very mixed race- Italian, Irish, Mexican and African American. All equal parts.
6. My daughters are the smartest, most gorgeous, giving children I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Honest this one is really true!
Ok so now you tell me the lie. If you pick number 3 you are correct! duh.
Now on to giving out my awards to a few blogs that I think are "worthy". Honestly these few blogs are some of my absolute faves and the fact that they were A). flattered that I wanted to pass this award on to them and b). they simply replied back (a few didn't). I love their blogs plain and simple so I'm keeping my list short and sweet. Let me just mention a lil something else about the cape on the corner -You really MUST go check out her blog. She seriously cracks me up. I "like" her alot and I am pretty sure you will too.
The Gaines Gang. Kate has serious picture taking skills and she can throw a mean party. I have serious blog envy here. You have to see this party she put together for her daughter's 10th Birthday day party. Pure creative genius. And did I mentioned she loves coupons?? We could have been sisters from another mother I tell yah!The fact that her son is a Yankee's fan has not gone unnoticed by this Phillies fan, but I love her blog so much, I just let it go...
Rambling Girl - Beth is a truly a loving soul. Her life and her blog are filled with such maternal postings that you know she would be a wonderful friend IRL. I started reading her blog early this year, just because her blog made me feel good when I read them. Sure she posts recipes, jokes and crafts but her blog is filled with "her" and I love that. Oh and didn't hurt that I won my 1st ever blog giveaway. From then on we became friends (even on FB). Check out Ramblin Girl, you won't be disappointed!
I had a few others, but they never got back to me and I hate using peoples pictures without their permission. So Enjoy and again THANK YOU!!!

crap, i just wrote something funny and witty and went to submit it and it said service unavailable. if it shows up, great, if not, i basically said thanks for the fab words about me and my blog.
and then i said that eric bana is the worst actor and i'm pretty sure he ruined the time travelers wife. did you read her fearful symettery? what did you think?
