New uses for old things

I saw these ideas on Real Simple.com and had to share them. I just love the idea of using things you already have for brand new uses! It's also keeping with my resolution to SIMPLIFY! How about this idea: A favorite child stuffed animal is given new life by replacing the stuffing with beans. The beans act like a weight and ~ Viola! New life as a bookend, Genius! A business card holder stores those loose Splendas that are laying at the bottom of your purse. It's so stylish too. How about pencil erasers being used to keep a picture level? Glue them to the corners of the pics and they will keep everything straight and prevent scratches on your walls!
