Have a SUPER weekend

It's the Superbowl this weekend and I am cheering on the Colts. I just love me some Peyton Manning. Yes that's me totally being a girl saying that. Hell the Eagles are out, so I'm going with the cuteness! Did I mention we are supposed to be getting a frickin BLIZZARD? No? Somewhere around 12-18 inches and some crazy winds! My house is filled with food, so I did not have to run out like the crazies and stock my house! I have no plans other than to do movies, games, making some comfort meals. Chicken Pot pies being one of those meals. Also planning lots of snuggle with the hubby and the 10 year old in front of the fire! While I would love for the 17 year old to join us, that's NOT gonna happen. Oh well she could surprise us. So do you have any plans for this weekend? Are you throwing a Superbowl party or attending one? We are having a few people over - Very low key. That means less cooking and entertaining for me since I actually like to watch the game! The hubby volunteered to make his famous wings for the game. I have no idea how he makes them so I can't share his delicious recipe. I do know that it involves milk, flour (or is it panko?) hot sauce and a daddy fryer. They really are that delicious. I haven't exactly decided on what I am going to make as of yet.. maybe hoagie dip or Slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches? Maybe even grilled Kielbasi and sauerkraut? I know the youngest daughter has already requested a hot chili bean dip for the gathering, so that's on the menu, but the rest we shall see! Have a great weekend. I'm outta here!!!! Go Colts!

Hey there. Enjoy your Superbowl party. I'm not having one of those but I am expecting 20 plus people Saturday night for my birthday party. I am hoping we don't get too much snow up here and that all my guests can make it. Have fun at your party and I hope to see you next weekend.
