Pinecones + Gumballs

Do you remember a few weeks ago when the hubby and I went away for our Anniversary and we picked up this lovely gumball machine? Well I finally got around to filling it and nothing says Fall like Pine Cones.
Ok so I actually did have it half filled with chocolate eyeballs for Halloween (thanks for the suggestion Lisa) but we ran out of candy on Halloween and had use them for the kids. First time that has ever happened! Sadly, I never got around to taking a picture of it. It was adorable - Trust me.
What do you think? Pretty cute huh?

I love repurposing things - particularly seasonal things. Great job.

I host a weekly meme called Seasonal Sundays. I'd love to have you post your gumball machine. The linking is open until late Monday night. Hope to see you!

I am going to get the kids' gumball machine out of the closet and do something clever with it. I would never have thought of such a neat idea.

It's darling! I have two tall pines in my front yard. And the yard is absolutely filled with pine cones.
