Our Christmas Tree ~ It's real and it's spectacular!

Around the Holidays people like to ask - real or fake? Some people swear by fake, but me, it's real all the way. Nothing beats the smell of a real pine tree. Yes, I have to deal with the pine needles, watering it and there is that whole making sure it doesn't catch on fire thing, but tradition makes it all worth it. The tradition of my family going to find that perfect tree. The tradition of going to "tag" that perfect tree every Black Friday - that's priceless. So for as long as my girls come home for the Holidays, I will have a real Christmas tree.
And now here it is.. isn't it a beaut? It's a Norway Spruce.
Every year I pick a theme for the tree. This year it was done in reds, silvers and had an "old fashioned" feel to it.
These ballerina slippers are my oldest daughters from when she was little
My youngest daughters favorite ornament
I still love my knock off Pottery Barn Peace Signs
Every year the girls get a new ornament. Here are this years ornaments.

And the Star that went on top
So real or fake? Did you do a theme on your tree this year?
