Up come the floors

True to the title we have been ripping up floors in da house. The girls bathroom and our kitchen to be exact. Remember when I told you that we were that family that did projects right before the Holidays? Well neither are completely done, but I am so happy with what we have so far that I just had to share what we have accomplished so far.
Here is the girls old bathroom (pics were taken in the middle of the redo). The floors were an ugly white speckled linoleum. So not picture worthy. Trust me when I tell that I did you a favor by not having a before picture.
I never said these pictures would be pretty people

Sneak peek at the girls bathroom...

Isn't it puuurty? Not the best side of the bathroom but its a sneak peek. Plus I still need to accessories.  Maybe a cute quote on the wall? And I have yet to pick a color to accessories in. Grey walls and the neutral floors let me have a ton of options. Perhaps Purple?
I'm showing this off, oops I mean linking this up on: Creative Share Wednesday, Show and Tell Wednesday, Make it yours day, Whatever Goes Wednesday, Power of Paint, Centsational Girl, Show off your stuff, Show and Share Day, Fabulous Finds Friday, Dittle Dattle, A Little Lovely

Great job! We'll be ripping out our bathroom tiles soon so this is an inspiration for me. Thanks.

oh yeah....Any ideas on the ledge of the tub...I have those ledges and have no clue what to add there or would u leave them empty. I wanted to use the candle in the last pic but was not sure if it would look good there and knew I needed something else with it...would a mirror be nice...

ooooo! I can't wait to see! I hope to reveal my bath tomorrow. I still need some things though: art on the wall, tile floor, and new countertop... but we've come a long way from when we moved in. :)

Love. Love. Love it! I think pink or purple or even a cool yellow would be great with the neutral tones you have in the space.

Come stop by my pretties and get signed up for the Thirty One giveaway going on now!

Great choice in flooring. The color really stands out against the white.
