Burlap? yes Burlap...

My Masterbath is in the process of being repainted/redecorated -revamped. I finished the painting up on Monday night and now the fun part.. Accessorizing it! I'm going for a spa/cottage feel to it. No, that doesn't mean starfish and seashells. It's more of sophisticated look, not cutesy. Pics will be posted upon it's completion. I promise.

For my next project, I will start on the Master Bedroom. I have a picture in my head (of course) of the "look" I am going for with this room. Again, it's going to be a cottage look. This room is going to take a little more time to complete since the bureaus need to be sanded, painted and then distressed. Slowly...

2 things I know for sure:

1. The nailhead headboard will be in this design

2. Burlap curtains will be on my windows.

Now I know you are saying Burlap as curtains? Sure, why not. The headboard will be covered in it, so why not the windows? It's unexpected (and cheap). Sigh, Ok do you need a visual to help you with this idea? Yes? Then check out some very creative girls that added this no sew window treatment to their designs! I love it!
