Mirror Mirror on my wall..

Sunburst mirrors have been around for a while now and are still all the rage. I really had my heart set on one for my Master bedroom. Finding one that I wanted for over my bed was pretty easy, finding one within my budget? Not so much. Seems "free" doesn't work for most stores, oh yeah and begging doesn't work either. On a recent visit to HomeGoods I happen to find a THE perfect substitute. The size was perfect, the color was perfect and the price - $19! Puurrfect! Here it up on my bedroom wall. Doesn't it go great with the wall color (Ralph Lauren's Sanctuary).

It's funny how money changes your mind and your decorating ideas. I still think I got the look that I was going for, but at a price that was perfect for my budget. While it's still not a sunburst mirror, it's looks great in the space and who knows maybe silver circle mirrors will be all the rage this year? It could happen...
Here it is with my new Martha Stewart bed linens. My husband surprised me with this set and 2 European pillows..I'll say it again.. he's a keeper (love him)

Oh speaking of sunburst mirrors, I MUST show you this fantastic craft idea if you are looking to make a mirror for your walls - yes, she made this beauty! Check out what Michele from Ten June made all by her pretty self! Gorgeous isn't it? How freakin clever is she?

In a world where I didn't have a budget (a world I would like to live in thank you), this baby would be on mine! Somewhere somehow..  swoon.

I like what you ended up with! That is one cool looking mirror with all the circles! A friend of mine was looking for a sunburst mirror for a reasonable price and not having luck. One day I was buying a piece of furniture from someone (craiglist) and I see this cool sunburst mirror leaning against the wall of her garage. So I was brave and asked if she would sell it to me and she did! I ended up giving it to my friend for her birthday and she loved it. My friend is an avid garage saler so I knew she wouldn't mind a second hand gift.:)

Tana, that mirror is heavenly! I love it. I wish there were a "Home Goods" where I live. Getting a little jealous of all the bloggers that get to shop there. ;)
