Crocs in my house? Really?

I really don't make it a secret that I have no love for Crocs. Honestly, I think they are butt-ugly. I know that have an almost cult like following, but I'm just not that type to give up fashion for Crocs comfort. I'm all about comfortable shoes, just not the bright crayon colored, plastic looking, holed filled kinda shoes. So when the hubby told me that he heard the guys in work talking about a new looking Croc shoe for men, that was "like walking on air", I was hesitant to even bother looking at them. He literally had to drag me into a store so he could get a look at them. I don't mind telling you I was ready to give him a mouthful on how I was not going to be married to a man that wears Crocs, when I was actually quite surprised at how cute these Crocs were. They were a pretty nice looking shoe. See, I don't have a problem with Crocs as a whole, just that original butt-ugly style of Crocs. These Crocs were so cute that I had even got them for the hubby for Christmas! Now I am not saying that I am going to rush out and buy a pair for myself, but it did get me to go online and looked at all their latest women's styles, yep they are still pretty ugly. I will say thank you to Croc for stepping it up a bit and giving people better options in their comfort. Maybe now I won't see someone wearing Crocs and instantly roll my eyes at their "fashion sense" :-)

Not bad.

I've been wearing 'croc like' shoes for years... only they are gardening clogs. LOL
Not meant for wear out in the public. :)
Actually, I have to admit, my son wears them in the summer for playing in the backyard. He can slip them on by himself and if when they get dirty, we can just hose them off.
However- I agree with you, not in bright colors on grown ups. YUCK!

I love my Crocs. :-D

No bright-colored ones in this house though.
