Fruits of Summer

Yum! The number 1 reason I love summer.. ok actually it's #2 - home grown veggies (beach is #1)! Now before you go asking me my gardening tips, I have to confess these and any other veggies I may post over the summer - are all from my father-in-laws garden. The man has a a serious green thumb. So what do you get when you have take these ... and these (so much more pretty once they were cleaned)

Well you something like this (plated of course)!

The recipe is for Stuffed Acorn Squash.. but I improvised with the summer squash that I had on hand. Sooo I still have about 6 more of these that I need to cook up - Wanna help a sister out with a few recipes??

I love to use Glad steam bags for the micowave. The squash is de-lish by adding just a few spray's of butter and a bit of slat.

I picked about 200 cherry tomoato's last night...maybe i will only plant one cherry tomoato plant next year!

Enjoy all that goodness!
