Cold weather with Martha

Last weekend I was strolling through Macy's when I found myself in one of my favorite sections of the store (2nd to the shoe department) - The Martha's Stewart Home Section! These Chunky knit throws looked so luxurious that I had to walk over and run my hands all over them. Oh they were so soft and actually felt expensive. Heaven I tell yah. Can you picture me practically laying on this blanket, and going on and on about how soft it felt? Yeah wasn't one of my best moments. .. but it was love. The leafy green is the perfect shade of green.
Then I looked at the price tag.
Yikes $160? Way too steep for me, so now I am on the hunt for a cheaper version.

Pottery Barn
The porcelain blue color actually matches my Martha bed set perfectly, but it's no leafy green. While I was fondling the Martha blanket, I had visions of me sitting in one my brown leather chairs, relaxing by a roaring fireplace.. and snuggling with a leafy green blanket.
Doesn't my vision look wonderful (minus the leafy green colored blanket, but you get the idea)?

I love this, but too much for me too! I knit and crochet, but alas my skill is not this advanced. Thinking maybe I should take a class to learn some of the tricks. I'm a new follower, I love your blog
