I am in love with this look - can you blame me?

This rug is hard enough find as an area rug, let alone a runner, so finding it might be harder than I think.
sigh Just look at how this rug is the exact color of my kitchen walls. double sigh..

Now the trick is to find one for cheaper than $275 because I'm pretty sure the hubby would suddenly start to look like Fred Sanford if he found out I ordered it at that price. I can just picture him with his hand on his chest and yelling"This is the big one, Elizabeth, I'm coming to yah" So has anyone seen one just a tad bit cheaper?? Anyone?? :-)

You could order the fabric online and make a rug out of fabric!
I ordered my fabric from here:

Girl, you KNOW you can make this rug! The fabric idea is great, as is painting on fabric. You can do it! You can do it! You can do it!
I totally think you could make it! What about using painters drop cloth? Ooooo, now I want to try it too!
Eager to see what you come up with!
Buy a plain jute rug and use thick blue masking tape to create your design, then paint. Yes, takes time but I bet it would look great. I am getting ready to make table runners with that method.
They had zig zag runners on westelm.com for $119.00. I don't know if they have a color you would like but check it out when you can. It's still expensive but not as bad as $275.00; good luck.

You could definitely make one. I haven't added any zigzag yet, but I plan to in the near future.
